Luminous archers deviate from the sisterhood of rogues because, at some time in their youth they were corrupted with the sin of vanity. Like their sister ARCs, they disdain the use of magic and unique items. However, because of a flaw in their character they have an insatiable attraction to items magically imbued with luminous qualities.

Unfortunately, wearing or using such items only further corrupts their spirit, giving them a haughty demeanor. They love to stand out in a crowd and be noticed when they enter a room. For this reason they are looked down upon with scorn by other archers as vain outcasts or renegades and are often called "Rogue bitches" behind their backs. Their vanity does have a major drawback: their increasing luminosity more quickly activates monsters making it difficult to survive in the underground realms.

Rules for the luminous archer regarding weapons and magic are basically the same as for the normal ARC with the following exceptions: she seeks to use any non-unique magic jewelry, weapon, headgear, or armor she can find or purchase with the "of light" or "of radiance" suffix. A

suggestion for naming your luminous ARC is to use the name followed by (ARC_L). Of course, this longer tag of 6 characters would necessitate having a shorter first name. Example: Sheba(ARC_L).
