CoM II (CoM for Windows) official release date!

Congratulations! I hope you make a lot of money from it.

I just bought it on GoG.

I have three questions:

1) Casterwin.html - it's the manual that you get when you install the game. It doesn't seem to be up to date. Is there a newer manual?

2) What is the meaning of the various options that you can choose at the start?
- Automatic combat (ok)
- Against the worlds (all AI players are enemies?)
- World equalizer
- Race to the unknown
- Easy lairs
- Dumb neutrals
- Monsters gone wild
- Targeting aid
- Plane of Earth
- Leave me alone (AI does not attack you?)
- Sandbox mode
- Order please
- Smart familiar
- No trading
- No overlap

3) In the game settings: Remove trees, legacy mountains, cache terrain - what are they?

2 and 3 - if you right-click on the respective item, it shows a help pop-out about what it does.

I bought it yesterday. There was no mention of it requiring a copy of MoM. I have a copy of MoM (old download), and CoMAlpha, but the installer doesn't find either. I did send an email complaint about it, and am waiting for a reply. I agree that it appears slimey, since it is presented as a standalone game, and then you find out that "Oh yah, we didn't mention that you also have to buy something else from us in order to play it"

I've spent enough hours on CoM that it deserves my support.
