What could be cause of endless loading crash during start new game after modding?

What could be cause of endless loading crash during start new game after my large modding attempt continue from last version. I have not start new campaign attempt in current version until this attempt (last time of my successful starting new campaign was in 1.1.1). From log file game generate, game to stuck around hero generation or right after that. What could be causes of such problem?

Actually that's just the log from loading the game.
You have to first turn on debug mode (ctrl+shift+s on wizard screen) then go back to the main menu by winnin/losing the game and then start the new game to get the real log.

Did you copy/paste any hero data from an old units.ini file? Version 1.1.2 added an extra line (the hero number). I did that and had it crash until I figured out the change.

I have try debug mode as you said and it stuck with neverending loop of this.

"Running Script AICustomWizard"

There are around 11 millions of them after several minutes of waiting. But I have never mod this file before, so I'm not sure what causing this.

While testing Suppanut's mod, I ran into a strange UI error:

The first time when this happened, the game crashed. The second time this happened, it didn't crash, but crashed when I clicked on the blank rows on the right. Let me know if you want to debug Suppanut's mod.

Found what causing crash at game start it but I don't know why.

It happened due to I select option "continental lord" together with "I am the boss" and this also cause crash in new unmodded version of CoM2 too.

About bug as show up on Anskiy, I could not recreate that bug, I load savegame he sent and display show normally without problem. Perhaps Seravy would know bettter what really happened in Anskiy side.

Found reason, you did not delete old units.dat and spells.dat files.

I was able to start a new game with both of these settings. Either additional conditions exist or it's not a 100% crash.

if that so, I also start the game with this condition along with 13 wizards huge landmass, continent mixed.


It seem that if I start with that condition with wizards more than 10, game crash upon create new game.

Confirmed.
It's stuck on the Myrran wizard requirement.

The problem was not clearing the data properly before a new attempt when the first doesn't roll enough Myrran wizards.
It will be fixed in the next update.
