Yeah, bit clumsy with my language there.

Auro, have you been following the discord?

Yes.

By reading in more detail what mack said I think he means that the copy of my Aeron’s chosen apparently didn’t act as a top defender. I don't think this changes much but in my tests (in WB) the copy always defended first. Weird. Maybe as they have same strength it’s a coinflip?

They should always have the same strength?

I'm a little unclear, wouldn't it have defended at one point, once the other one was wounded.

They do.

I thought the illusion defended against warrior (win) and against CA that withdraw and did some damage to the illusion (no healing). And only the last fight was against real unit. But apparently all the fights were against the real unit if what mack is saying is true. I’m not sure really though if I understood what he said. The attacks still don’t make sense to me. If he was trying to hurt the real unit some with his warrior then illusion would defend next…

The illusion doesn't necessarily defend ahead of the real unit. I'm not sure which conditions cause which to defend first though, and I agree with you that it makes little or no difference to your argument.

I've been trying to figure out what actually happened, talking with mackoti in his thread, but still haven't resolved it. Of course I'm not on discord, so for all I know I'm way behind the times, but In the meantime, if it's still relevant, in hopes that the game may start at some point again, what would need to happen for you to continue the game? If mack quit and someone was found to take over for him, would you want to play again? If so, would you want to play if they took over from here, or only if we rolled back to before mack's latest turn?

I also wonder: Is there any circumstance in which you would be willing to play with mack again? (E.g. if a sufficiently-strong argument showed he hadn't cheated after all - or alternatively if he admitted to cheating, begged forgiveness, swore to amend his ways, and maybe played some number of games thereafter that you could tell were clean? I admit that neither of these examples are likely to happen - just trying to get a sense for where you're standing.)

I hope the game was fun up to this point in spite of the foul taste of the past couple of turns....

Thanks for trying to resolve the issue. It’s a shame that the game got to this state. Especially considering how interesting the game got and many players still had a shot to compete even though mack was in clear lead at the moment. Interesting times were ahead. So I’m a little bit sad for other players that I had to bring this up and very likely kill the game too. But I’m not playing with mack again for the reasons I’ve stated and that is that I simply don’t trust him to play fair. And that simply ruins all the fun for me and while I can’t prove he is cheating (like I said before) the feeling of someone playing unfairly against you is not great. You start to question everything he does or has done. Obviously if he somehow quit (very unlikely) or admitted to cheating (even more unlikely) I would probably play on.

But yes, I have enjoyed the game up to this point in general and the map is very nice and interesting once again. So thanks for that also.

But to summarize: the best chance to make the game continue is to find a replacement for me.
