Well, I wrote these as soon as I passed the save off to Sulla, hopefully you guys don't make a mockery of them wink. It looks like 3/4 threads posted so far are for incomplete games, which I take as a bad sign.

It had nothing to do with the design of this event that I did not finish. On the contrary - I really liked it, great concept and very well carried out! It was simply a matter of having a busy life at the moment on my part. frown

Darrell, as I said in my report, this was a great scenario design and probably the hardest emperor level game I have played in a while. The no tech brokering bug slightly ruined the fun for me, but obviously you could not have known about it.

Nice game, ill be looking forward to more of your sponsored games in the future.

You really didn't remove any strategic resources from our start ? I did blame you for that lol

As far as game design goes, I was quite satisfied with this one. Maybe Vicky instead of Lizzie would have spiced it up a bit. In fact, I barely built units at all once my war with Mansa was finished.

The foreign advisor bug didn't trouble me much. I just put that on a lack of attention on my part. Hope they fix that though. Also, the fact that you can trade stolen techs with "no tech brokering on" should not be possible.

Anyway, keep those coming thumbsup

It's not just a bug with the advisor, since if you actually click on the person you cannot offer them that tech either. It was an issue for me with Civil Service and Paper. After that, no problems. Must be the techs that have two OR prereqs.

Darrelljs - I definately enjoyed the game, and actually managed to survive to the end. As a side note, this was my first Emporer level game so I wasn't expecting a win - just surviving was my goal. Since the difficulty level was well above my capabilities I'm pretty sure the variant rules didn't really make a difference to me (I was never in danger of having a land lead or tech lead cry ).

Granted my game is "suspect" due to my use of an unapproved mod (BUG mod). eek

But it was definately a learning experience! thumbsup

I realy enjoyed the scenario.
It was my first game on Emperor difficulty, and it appeared it's not that hard I thought before. Maybe it's because I chose cultural approach, which seems the easiest path.

Considering the variant rules and the AI personalities, cultural or Diplomatic were much easier than Space or time to win. If you replace Mansa with Ragnar or Shaka I think this game becomes MUCH harder.
