The next wonders in line where:
Hollywood in 1834

Rock n Roll a year later

The UN in 1952

Christo Redentor the same year

And finally in 1884 the long waited for DECLARATION OF WAR... by Justinian and his Vassal Mansa Musa.

I wasn't prepared in the first place, but with two shrines i had money galore. Another thing that helped me was of course the above wonder...
So i switched to all war Civics i could think of. I drafted infantry, upgraded to machine guns, whipped some defenders und bought some more...

I managed to repell all attacks and was finally able to strike back. I captured Gao from Mansa, a city which should have flipped for about a 1000 years to me.

Of course didn't i stop building wonders...

So the next wonder was due in 1902:

and in 1948:

Ok, what happened inbetween...
You saw earlier that i really put culture pressure on Mansa... what you didn't see is that there were 2 1-tile cities in my borders predicting to belong to Mansa. I had one more city i would go for, and thas was his Capital Djenne. I wanted this just to seal off my border with Pacal who was thinking about domination too.
Just when i captured Djenne those 1-tile cities flipped to me and thus i violated the rule, leaving Mansa with just one city of his initial 5.
So this is of course a shadow game by definition... of course i was really frustrated by that, but what can you do... Mansa then renounced the protection by Justinian and declared peace afterwards. Just to be destroyed by Pacal some turns later...

I took one floodplain city from Justinian and made peace with him also. He was still an immediate threat, but nothing i couldn't manage... of course there were no more wonders, so i could finally produce culture buildings an most important military.

This lead to this picture in 1949:

and in 1959 inevitably to this one...

This could have been i bit earlier, but i was frightened by all those spaceship parts built and so started building it myself. Some turns later i calculated the time i needed for a cultural victory and rammed my head on my desk... well it was really stupid when i started building the spaceship i was some 30ish turns away from victory. I corrected my mistake and was going all ouit cultural... and made it in 20 turns...

Initially i said about an appropriate cultural victory... i found it pretty easy. I constructed both Culture Inc's and that alone skyrocketed my income and culture output. Having 5 religions (3 own) in my empire did help as well...

Concluding i'll have to say that all wonders where really possible... apart from forgetting one... frown

Thanks for you patience...

This was a really WONDERful adventure...

It was pretty easy, all i've done was building wonders...
I had mainly 3 cities for wonder production with a fourth from time to time.
Then again i founded three religions and two late game religions (Corporations). I did shut down science after the last wonder tech, which is still some way off from the spaceship.

When those wonders where coming short, especially after Nationalism i catched up with infrastructure and could finally spread my religions. Another thing is that i had specialists en masse due to all those wonders... must of them were merged and together with the Sistine Chapel it was fairly easy to win by culture.
