Impressive stuff. Well planned and executed. Having more cities in Civ4 is still a pretty good strategy, if not as important as in Civ3.

Awesome game! Gz!

ps. about that herbalist event for +2 health at the start, I got it many times and I think it is safe to 'risk' unhappy faces for a few turns and get the cool award. I am not sure if that event is coded right, or the comment for event is misleading, whenever I chose +2 award I got it. So, no need to miss nice reward if you get it next time.

The reason I chose the low option on the Herbalist was because I knew I wouldn't need the health benefit, and IIRC it could have killed 3 of my 9 pop at the time to get it. (The temporary unhappiness was irrelevant.)

It would have killed my expansion rate to do it, particularly because I only had one worker at the time so my cities were growing rather slowly ...
