Great person due in 2t - Engineer or Scientist. Considering my options. Not sure if the 1 GP golden age has been kicked off yet but considering saving him for that and mass civic swap.

If it is an Engineer then perhaps the AP would be a good build? Would mean I'd have to push non SPI temples and monastries but I can do that via the whip... Would have to add University of Sankore and Spiral Minaret to really make this worthwhile.

Really high happy cap and lack of workable tiles has meant I have been whipping a fair bit.

Saved Gold this turn and will do again next turn. Will turn on tech after that.

Played the turn, but was in a bit of a rush so no shots.

In the middle of a GA right now, and starting to pump out the knights, but right now fairly well below TT in power, so will keep pumping. Also slipped low enough on EP to lose Piets graphs so investing in the other players for a few turns to make sure I keep them.

Aesthetics is in and researching literature due end of this turn. will check to see, but not aware of anybody havign music yet, so may grab that quickly for the free artist.

Epic wise I'd be tempted to put the hero epic in Windsor. Only build knights where you have a stables and barracks too. Music is needed on the route to crussiers and eventually cavalry too.

The last turn of the GA you should be swapping the Theocracy instead of OR too.

Well talked to Sian and seems the save is moving again.

Part of the problem was we advertised the game as a fairly even contest, aparently Ioans empire is a bit of a mess and on Sian's first turn TI declared and rolled a big stack in, which as you can imagine took some enthusiasm out of it.

Well back on forums and seen this has finally been called. It is a shame, but it just lost its momentum and I think it would have been a struggle to get back into the game.

I have read TT's and Piet's threads and have to agree on Piets rankings in the end, I think TT diverting resources tot he new world may have tipped the balance in my direction in the fight for 3rd, if so I would have stayed loyal to Piet which may have tipped him into 1st.

With my game, me taking so long to find the copper meant the choke never had a chance, other than that I was generally ok with my early game. I think i did lose focus mid game on the main goal, a stand out for me is wasting a GE on the pyramids when I didnt actually plan to use any of the civics.

Probably my best game so far, but will cut down on the number I play from here I think to report better.
