Quote:Hi Ravus,

Long time no talk.

Can't really blame you.

Mackoti got wise and is headed for tower instead of some quixotic
con/dom move. I'm NAP'd until T200. In a couple of turns I'm going
to start drafting my civilization into the ground for longbows while
slow-teching sorcery for whichever adepts/mages have matured by that
turn. He's got 5 mana sources but 2 of those are on the Elf/Vampire
border, so well within reach to shut down a tower push. Chatting with
him he didn't realize that he needed mages in order to dispel his
nodes, so that mistake has bought us time to do this right.

Mist looks like he's going to light into Amelia to get a Vampire
border, so one way or another it looks like it's Armageddon time.

This all assumes you don't have a plan to win pre-T200. If you've got
one of those you should probably just do that instead wink.

Okay someone tell me that isn't what i think it is? I'm about to head off to a party and that looks to me like a "oops I messed up please save the day." I don't know what amuses me more that he thinks I might have a plan to win after crashing my nation into the ground or that he wants me to do his dirty work. It's obvious to anyone that IF Mackoti gets knocked out Sareln is now #2 to win.

that is pretty funny, I must admit.

I know you're probably not around anymore, and thus won't be able to see this, but my choices had always been the following:

1) Work for Mackoti
2) Die to Makcoti

I simply had no chance of beating him off before i got enough wizards, and well, i had maybe 20 at the end of the game, with about 1 coming every 3 turns. The only possible solution to this was to take out Mist until i found another mana node, because my adepts were coming out 8/10 xp which weren't good enough.
