And me as well.

Edited. You realize why you made a mistake last turn, and are doing something about it.

I would definitely be interested.
In fact, I would have signed up for that third game of Diplomacy, except:
1. I have never played Diplomacy before; and
2. Like you, I am much more interested in the tactical aspects of the game. I would grow bored of long chats with up to six people every turn.
Now, if they decided to have a Gunboat Noob game, I might be interested. But there would be little point in that, and I could sign up for something similar just about anywhere.

Appreciate all the thoughts guys. I'll get a look at the situation in the north up in the morning.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Mr. Sensitive. FAIL!
Guess you gotta be a stone cold killer. Stabbing Jkaen must be like knifing a baby.

Yes - a tactical breakdown would be very interesting.

I still owe you guys a tactical update. I've been quite frustrated with the game truth be told. I had a pretty decent stab lined-up, but I'm still at a point in the game where I'm relying on other players, and nobody seems to have much of a stomach for anything. The moves I made this turn were essentially akin to tactical masturbation, as none had any hope of doing anything other than preserving a stalemate. I'm hoping I can get something going this fall, but honestly, I'm not especially well positioned to hurt anybody.

So, from a pure spirit of helpfulness (and totally not because I want you free for more FFH), can I recommend some combination of the following? - Invite Jowy to take the Black Sea for himself
- Stab Jowy, ineffectually. Maybe bounce him in Bulgaria or something
- Withdraw your armies from the front, but make sure to leave your SC's empty
- Send out an inflammatory note to everyone. Maybe tell them their mothers were goats. And add in a paragraph insulting as many political views as you can; anyone who thinks about politics or ignores politics is clearly an idiot, right?
- Oh, and make sure you also insult their performance in this game, in particular.

Heh. No need. Unless I make the effort to flip TT back onside, or get Commodore to agree to some sort of bizarre RG alliance, I'm pretty well meat here. My front is too far extended and my allies are too weak. Jkaen is walking dead, so he can't help me in the north while Jowy is boxed in and can't offer any real help in the middle.
Honestly, unless France decides to stab G and open that front up and force Commodore to deploy resources there, I should have plenty of free time coming up.
The real question is if I care enough at this point to try and make this happen. I mentioned this to one of the other players, but I actually think Lewwyn's situation was a much better diplomacy learning experience than ours - a bunch of noobs playing diplomacy is kind of like watching paraplegics* play football - its cool that they're trying and all, but they're necessarily not playing the same sport.

Just read this and its interesting how you seemingly were convinced that I had flipped away from you at some point!
You were my main ally all the way through - my unfortunate enforced diplo silence due to my internet problems seemingly got you very worried!
Ah well, at least we got to the end as part of a tie!
