Finally finished reading through the thread ... that was awesome, Commodore. Almost made me want to play MP again ... almost.
I wanted to post a big picture of the famous (in Canada) painting Canada's Answer by Lt. Cmdr. Norman Wilkinson, showing the ships carrying the 1st Division steaming for England in 1914, in honour of your assistance to Babylon after the fiendish destruction of her capital, but I couldn't find one big enough. All I can say is, that was an epic war worthy of Canada's martial heritage in the era of steam and shell (perhaps that won't make sense to a lot of people ... 1918 has been forgotten). I wish we could have seen the strike on dtay's kannone stack.
Thanks again for the awesome thread ... I suppose I should leave you with something - a bone fide Canadian souvenir, one I don't think I've seen anywhere:
