I sent scouts to the east with the express purpose of getting the bonus, which come to think of it was pretty silly, with so little water, and was pretty disappointed to discover that there was no bonus in this game. Force of habit I guess!

In my game, I came within four turns of whipping Taj Mahal (needed 15 citizens, had 13 available when Mansa grabbed it.). I made sure to keep Mansa, shall we say, otherwise engaged in my game. I've seen what he does with peace. With Vicky, I was unable to be so persuasive...
