I think Thrawns main advantage is in finding all the City states first. That is hardly a fault of the map.

Ichabod clearly did not sign on to be zerg rushed in the ancient era, and I can't really blame him for not going all in on a truly hopeless defense here. Honestly, I'd be at least a little annoyed in his place given the stated intended shape of this game.
Yeah, it does have me wondering if I should have put more barriers up to prevent that. Guess I took the player intentions in the discussion thread for granted (I stayed out of player threads until the map was complete). On the upside it looks like I've done well on CS placement.
