I'm planning on settling "later city" with the new settler--it gets iron, shares the sheep, and gets seafood once we destroy Westmoreland eventually. A note on that: use forts to create a canal between Toledo and Cordoba so we can get Galleys to that sea more easily.
Seven just declared again--I'm not playing this turn. Apparently you don't come back until the weekend, so I don't know what to do

I need you to play the turn. I'm not home to do so for another three days. Just play it ad if it were your civ. I don't think it's going to really matter anyway since I doubt we can survive his attack.
I barely even have cell service, let alone internet most of the time between now and then so have no real ability to give input.
It sounds like we're pausing anyway--the games are down for ~9 hours, and mackoti would appreciate the pause too. If people start complaining I'll play the turn--but I just don't want the civ to disappear without any word from you

Again, sorry for not playing the war turns--I really didn't want to play more war turns after the near-constant war in PBEM 58, especially war of a civ that's not really mine
![]() I saw via Civstats you did a lot of whipping--do we stand any chance? I didn't do anything after seeing Seven had invaded--I didn't even take stock of how many troops were invading, just that there were two separate stacks and that Seven's power graph had spiked over the last dozen turns.
No, we don't stand a chance. The city he put all his units by, I did a 5-pop whip for a Settler. If that city actually survives this turn, I'll send the settler away. But I assume he'll actually take that city this turn, so even if I had whipped a military unit it would never have been built. The rest I whipped units to see if I can at least slow him down, but I doubt it. He may stop at some point on his own, simply so as not to expand too fast. But he has enough to simply stomp through and take everything.
It's also more than just two stacks. He also sent two Galleys from two separate locations, one being right towards my under defended capital. |
