Civ 5 Scenarios

I have never got into scenarios in previous versions of the game, and think that's probably a shame. Has anybody played the scenarios in Civ 5, and have any comment on their quality, which are the better ones, which to avoid etc?

Single sentence reviews of scenarios I have played to completion.

I enjoyed scramble for Africa as a European power, I haven't had an opportunity to try it out as a non-Euro, grubbing for points while being unable to declare war led to some creative play.

The steampunk had lots of fun theming.

The renaissance scenario felt a bit too cumbersome.

Thanks Sareln, I was beginning to think nobody had played any of them.

I've played a few, Genghis' Mongols was by far my favourite though.

Riding around with Keshiks and razing cities left and right was tonnes of fun. Fun way to play it for me was to send 1 khan and a few keshiks + horsemen as a horde for each enemy civ I wanted to target.

Most of the scenarios are a little jarring because they aren't on BNW, so the mechanics are different. Of course, happiness is back to being a toothless restriction in most of them, so that's nice.

I think scramble for africa would be a little better if say, the Zulus and the Boers could fight, or the Euros amongst themselves.
