Copious thanks to T-Hawk for the game and the map, both of which were excellent smile

Here's hoping for more of these in the future. I had tons of fun with this one.

Good report. Yes, the scout pointed in the direction of the flood plain and Zara was completely intentional. And indeed, Moscow was designed to look worse than it really was while playing alright at least early on. What wasn't intentional was Brennus's big backyard, I didn't really realize he had that much room. I also didn't realize how big the economic crash would be while pink-dotting, with no cottages at the capital. And funny that all the resources actually hurt economy for a bit since the cities would grow onto so many of them before any cottages. You handled that well, though.

You met the win conditions about when I would've expected. Even if Brennus had a bit more land left to expand, you wouldn't lose from there. I think they worked about right in this case, and in most of the games here.

The sparse foreign advisor screen is because tech trading was off, which means nothing can go into the "Wants", "Will Trade", "Won't Trade" columns.

Congrats on the double gems spot and the one with pigs near the celts. I missed them both in my game (alas, had to burn a Celtic city to get the pigstongue). Really good commitment to settler building early in the game, chopping those deers is something I didn't even thought about, but it makes a lot of sense

Nice job! Like others I have to congratulate on getting the two spots I wanted. The Ethiopa picture was interesting, zara's settler was on the plains hill where he settled Gondar in my game - and then your Zara moved north just far enough for you to get the St Pete's spot with the rice first ring.

Lots of detail in your writeup but I have one critique of the photos - the full size ones get shrunk down to the point where I can't really read the turn/year, your research, your city builds, etc. And the zoomed in photos show good stuff but I like seeing the year/turn with them too - either copy/move the the turn into a corner, or just have it clearly in the text right before/after - in particular curious when you founded the first two cities since you got the best spots; there is a clue on St Pete (mentioned settler done T32) but not sure on Novgorod.
