So the far is in its final stretched. Ichabod left his giant stack within 3 tiles of mine, so I cleared a city, hit with cats, and wiped the whole thing. Now it's free hunting, I'll conquer ichabod pretty much as soon as I can march sufficient units to the still-somewhat-guarded capital

Swapped to rep/<>/emancipation/free_speech/theocracy, GNP is now wayyy better. Cause much better tiles, and no longer paying out the nose for pacifism. 2nd column civic remains nationhood, drafting is great and honestly the lack of a civic cost is pretty nice.

oh, Free Speech! Interesting!! I can't remember anyone ever swapping into that civic in an MP game, except for TBS in PB18 of course. Oh, and I assume past CV attempts too... I just mean as a purely economic civic, as compared to Merc/FM/SP. Maybe Krill finally buffed it enough, heh. It also allows you to cash rush now, right? Any plans for that? and how many villages/towns do you have? any plans for US later? sorry for all the questions!

It's been buffed a good bit*, and the +100% cottage growth fits pretty well with all the untouched land I'm still developing ont he astro isles.

it also cost a lot fewer upfront beakers to get to, which means I can avoid the education techs for a while longer and make my big beaker deficit less "real" so to speak. Will need to go through them to get corp for assembly line though eventually.

Probably want to end on US, just a question of when the next golden age comes and if the beaker cost of democracy is worth it. Considering making a run for SoL, but man i have a ton of stuff I need to grab for basic economic competency and safety (printing press, rep parts, chemistry).

Cash rushing will be somewhat sparing while I'm trying to catch up on tech, though will probably rush granaries in new cities.

Don't have an exact count on towns/cottages.

It isn't as autopilot as free market or merc+rep, but that's a nice chunk of goodies there.
