forum cleanup suggestions

rename more mods to mods and modding
move the catnip subforum there (no activity for over 3 years)
move the (4) threads from the Ziky - Flexibility and Speed subforum there, not stickied (it's outdated and zitro has his thread there for his current mod). then remove the Ziky - Flexibility and Speed subforum
move the caster of magic thread there and sticky it
sticky the how to mod thread

I don't have sufficient privilege to change the name of a sub forum or move it.
Presumably BRickAstley can, since he's an administrator and he is the one who gave me moderator privileges in the first place (quite some time ago).

I can sticky a thread though, so I've stickied the '"How to mod" questions' thread.

Can you be a bit more explicit and provide hyperlinks to what you'd like to see moved, plus hyperlinks where you would like to see them moved to?
Then we can pass it on to an administrator.

ok i didn't expect this to be complicated *lol* basicly it would be nice to have all mods in the modding subforum and nowhere else. especially the ziky mod is now there and the ziky subforum is missleading if someone wants to use his mod.

ziky: move these threads
http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=5146 (also unsticky this)
http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=5281
http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=5186
http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=5190
to the modding forum: http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?fid=55
then delete the (now empty) ziky subforum: http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?fid=54

catnip: (if possible) make this subforum http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?fid=51 a subforum of the modding subforum http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?fid=55

rename the "more mods" subforum http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?fid=55 to "mods and modding" (better describes what we're doing there)

move the caster of magic mod thread http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=7751 to the modding subforum http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?fid=55 and sticky it.

this assumes the people involved don't care. i don't want to anger anyone and it's not extremely important.

I've passed the message along.

For the record, I agree with all of your suggestions.

Eh, leave the Caster thread where it is. Technically it should go in a subforum, but it's the most exciting thing going on now and more people will see it in the general forum. Once it dies off, move it, but I'm not against it taking up space in the main forum.

Yes, that's why I posted it there, for better visibility.
On the long term, I think it should get its own subforum, like other big mods. Assuming people actually stay interested and want to post about it. If not, it can go into the "more mods" section instead like suggested.

Either way I agree the forum could use some cleanup, both Catnip and Ziky are completely inactive sections.

Also agree that "more mods" should be renamed to "mods and modding"

there is just one mod with a subforum, which is catnip (besides the obsolete ziky). all others just have a stickied thread. and yes, seravy's mod is the most exciting thing going on... ever, if you ask me. but it's still juts a mod *lol*

Well I'd do it as I'm a moderator but all I can do is sticky & edit posts and ban people. Not helpful in this case.

The clean-up has just been completed as you can see in this thread.
I'm afraid the Caster thread got moved as well...
At least I did sticky it now.
