[spoilers] Commodore Milks Nostalsia as Pete of Mede

Hopefully; Ipecac's core empire is better-developed than my core empire and he's got a slight lead in tech, so my confidence isn't 100%, but if Greenline mounts a decent resistance then it'll be hard to top what I've gained, even with 10-15% higher city count.

It'll definitely be game if Greenline opens borders like I'm asking for...I'm tooling up an expeditionary force to try and use American roads to find and crush the invader stack.

Sweet. It was going to be a little difficult to ensure another artist, but I have one pure scientist pool and a highly mixed merchant/engineer/prophet pool that'll come a cropper during the golden age, so that's a solid 24 turns of gold.

I'd say a solid 36 turns but Ipecac just founded Taoism, so he's 1-2 turns from Nationalism. I'm a turn behind; I'd say he'd have to be slower but he'll be having capture/pillage gold fueling 100% for several more turns surely. I'm going to be able to toss a spare hundred hammers into the Taj from a bank overflow and Formic is golden-age hammered, but I suspect that Ipecac's Industrious will allow him to overcome that advantage (he does lack OR at the moment, for what its worth).

Yeah, it would have been very risky trying to take his land cities. I suppose I should have tried grabbing the island ones though.

Always hard to determine what's best. I'd say that wouldn't be worth much, but you southern hemisphere people had excellent islands.

How quickly were you set to get the Taj? Despite my overflow I was still eight turns away.  shakehead

9-10 turns to tech, followed by engineer rush.

At that end there was little additional capture/gold rush to be had: greenline had a stack of cats, knights, and pikes to defend against my own knight stack.
