A: I don't think anyone was at the point where "they didn't care" about your posts anymore. Just because you're not getting traction with one argument doesn't mean you shouldn't try explaining your idea in a different way. I'd also argue that novice was probably somewhat susceptible to your arguments, but you lost him when you started giving Lewwyn credit for being town with Gaz as the other scum.

I maybe could have gotten Novice, but that doesn't change the fact that Gaz was irredeemable. If you aren't convinced, go back and read his posts again and tell me that I should have realised he could have changed.
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!
Anyone can be persuaded, you just have to find the right rhetorical approach. Gaz wasn't closed off, he just wasn't finding your arguments to be persuasive. Also, it's worth noting that just because someone doesn't believe in you, doesn't mean they are the bad guy :P
I protest that I was irredemable. Yes, I thought you were scum and I was well and truly hoodwinked by Jabbz, but just as I wasn't seeing things from your POV, I think you were not seeing them from mine. If you had tried to make the case for Lewwyn being Jabbz's partner, I would have been more receptive, because that would have gelled with my reading of the game. But you were saying I was the bad guy, so I felt like you were putting on a show for Novice's vote, rather than genuinely engaging with me.
I'm not saying it's your fault, it's mine, but that was my thinking. It doesn't help that Jabbz is good at manipulating me (well played Jabbz!) One of the things I find most fascinating (and frustrating) about this game is the act of persuasion. I agree with Jabbz, that in -theory-, anybody can be convinced of anything. You just have to find the right key to fit their lock. And it's very difficult to do that when you think the other one is evil, because A: it's hard to make DumbGlum listen to you, and B: it's hard to want to put in the effort when you think the people on the other end aren't treating you fairly. I thought you did a great job putting in the effort, and it was unfortunate that I wasn't around the final 8 hours, because I was impressed when I came back too late and saw all those posts. I would be potentially up for another round, maybe next week?
Started a game on another site, so can't play, but happy to host again.
