In my defense, early on, everyone was sending me random items every session because Kaiser wanted to loot and sell everything, and I was the only person putting points into Strength so I had a much higher carrying capacity. I figured if that was the case, I might as well take points in Bartering and be the designated merchant. Keep in mind this is back when gold was scarce and we were all carefully saving up for skill books and passable gear.

Many many sessions later, none of these conditions are still true: we bought everything we needed and had gold to spare, and I re-specced out of Bartering and into Persuasion because no one else had it and we kept failing every check, but people still kept putting random things into my backpack out of habit, and I didn't notice since I never got encumbered. This ended up including enough endgame gear to open up a shop, multiple containers of deathfog among many other mundane barrels and crates, and of course in classic RPG style over a hundred consumable potions, scrolls, and grenades that we ended up not using lol
