Oh shit oh shit I didn't realise Mig had attacked Coldrain...two turns ago. I played the turn so quickly when I got back from the tramp I just completely missed it. All my units are out of position.
We attack next turn. Hopefully we can make a difference. Burn everything that we can.

Yeah, honestly I don't feel this has been your most focussed game (this is not a criticism - I'm continuously impressed by those who can tolerate these death-fests without cracking as I would). And I have been pretty low value as a lurker - even just a cheerleading one.

That couldn't possibly be a criticism when it's a bald statement of fact! The truth is, from quite early on I've struggled with time commitments in personal life and haven't had a heck of a lot of interest since the first 20t, mostly going through the motions and trying not to hold up turns. Apologies to both the players and the lurkers on that score, especially my poor dedlurkers.
I lost enthusiasm after (a) everyone else chose interesting leaders and mine was boring and (b) my early game advantage seemed to vanish in the face of t1 Godking, where everyone else had a more interesting late game to build towards. My position snowballs from that spot - not noticing great people being born, Drama landing, odd tech decisions, an abortive Hyborem attempt by two way war. Oh well. Time for some war turns against Wizards.

Lost my whole stack against a city. Too well reinforced for me to run past and burn Auro's cities, but was a disaster. Next turn all my units die and he has hosts to run over my east. Coldrain is dead also. This game is over. Maybe should have waited a few turns for my units to catch up and worldspell to come online, but by that time Coldrain would be dead and I would be forced to fight on two fronts anyway. I just didn't have a large enough military, despite sinking a few thousand gold into upgrades. Apologies for a disappointing end.
