Nice game rego
I was more advanced in my game managing to grab liberalism and fusion artist but in the end we were about the same tech level in the 1900's
Once away with techs, you don' have any AI to trade with, hence you lag. It seems to me there is some kind of convergence point.

EDIT : remembered 2 things in your report. To declare a war, you just have to alt click the leader name. As for gunships, they can attack but they can't capture cities

Yeah I knew that about the alt-click, but I wanted a picture of where it says "Your head would look good on a pole". And I think I did know that about gunships, but it was still a learning experience since I don't think I have ever built one before this game
