Good game. As I commented in the 'sponsor' section, I didn't chose the leaders, just the countries. I let the system chose the leaders for a little surprise for me. I also have no idea about the Moa / Napoleon thing but it seemed to have turned out right in the end.

What happened with Pyongyang? Were you trying to reduce your votes?
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Yeah, I deliberately starved some cities to reduce my own votes because Napoleon was too big to win while voting for him otherwise. I know it's a bit metagamish, but figured that famine in North Korea was realistic enough to be a good excuse.

Very nice game. Impressive dates for the electricity slingshot and the UN thumbsup
I don't like the hidden modifiers either. Applying personality effects is ok, but they should be visible to the player

Well played game.

I remember reading about the hidden AI modifiers in one of the SGOTM3 threads. Even things like "-1 if you lost a war" or something like that. In a strategy game, I think these things should be very evident to the player.

Very strange that Napoleon declared on Roosevelt despite everyone sharing religion. Also, I'm quite surprised that no one went to Free Religion. I thought just a single city with more than one religion would be enough.

Again, nicely played. I wondered how things would have gone had I only chosen one of the gold mines.

Elizabeth did move to Free Religion since it's her favourite civic (this lost me a few points too) but all the others stayed in their state religion since it was spread in all cities. I guess 1-2 religions per city is not enough to make them go to free religion, and the AI won't spread their other religions if they don't own the holy city.

Proabably Mao liked Napoleon more than you because of warmongerrespect. Nice game, interesting that you tried to please your UN opponent too to get more points. Also delaying the victory (or more accurately: Mao delaying your victory) got you more points because you researched the techs which enabled favourite civics.

Warmonger respect?

Errr AIs designated as warmongers get hidden bonusses with each other. I think the peacemongers do too. That's why when you declare on HC in 3000 BC, you get -ves with Monty, Alex etc for declaring on a friend but not on Gandhi or Hatty. It's probably explained better at Civfanatics somewhere.
