@Dawn - Toku winning a diplomatic victory! That's gotta be a first, you should post a report.

@sooooo - don't have many notes as I played through the middle 1/3 of the game sitting in the dentist office while my better half was in for oral surgery. I have the screen shots from the very end of the game available, but didn't take many notes through the game. I guess the most surprising part was that a vassal could win the AP vote.

I tried this as well... albeit 'slightly' less sucessfully.

I really like the war with Tokugawa and the size boosting of your cities. Masterfully done!

Yep, I fully agree - and I'm glad that this issue apparently has been fixed in the patch. I've done this only because I lacked the time for a full military campaign and because I wanted to try the AP at least once. I'm really glad I was beaten by a big margin by some who played more to the spirit of the game.

Hi,

You won on turn 147 and I would have to agree that conquering the world would have been tough to do before this date since you can't really get Iron Working before about turn 50 (that is unless you ignore Animal Husbandry which would be tough to do with a nice grassland cows staring you in the face) which would leave you with only 100 turns to build enough Prats to march to your nearest 2 neighbors and conquer them

This comment is really hilarious in hindsight, having now read sooooo and uberfish's reports...
