Unique Templar Pistol - Misery's Gift - is cursed

I was telling Shadow about this strange/cursed unique Templar pistol. It has some decent stats - 80% shield penetration is pretty good. However, my HP is drained by this gun gradually whenever I am wielding it. This is even with some HP regen (182/min). Haven't tried to switch to Aura of Renewal since it does come with AoR 4. Maybe that would balance out the HP drain.

That's a keeper! I wonder if there are other cursed items.

I played with this gun a bit the past couple of days. As I guessed, with the +4 Aura of Renewal, and at least 1 monster within your aura, the life drain effect can be offset. But when there is no monster around, you better switch to a different weapon set.

It turns out there is an Evoker (Cabalist) belt which is also cursed. I forgot its name... It is about clvl 12, and with +12 Will and Firestorm 2 (or 3). I found it and gave it to Lethal from ULGG. He put it on and while we were talking, I noticed his HP was being drained... so I asked him to trying removing one item at a time and found that the belt was draining his HP! I'll try to get a screenshot and post it later.

But the funny thing was, since his Evoker didn't have a lot of HP, he decided to try to let it drain all his HP while in a station. 8) Guess what, he didn't die from it. When his HP reached 1, it stopped, although it began to drain his shield and power. And he ended up getting this Achievement "Time to Die"! Haha. We should all share the cursed items, drain our HP and get the AP! For the Guardians, we should do that with all the +stam and +HP items off... like my 35 Guardian, who has 1700+HP, it will take him quite sometime to drain all the HP. LOL.
