First Impression: Very clean and minimalistic. However, I reserve the right to change my opinion when I find and add on all the gadgets and features that I am used to with the Firefox and Igoogle combo. Also, it may only look it, in other words, you may or may not see as much information in comparison to Firefox. Here's a side by side comparison. Both browsers used the same forum settings.

"Insert Img" icon uses different tags, and image does not show in the editing window.
"Insert Hyperlink" icon does not have http:// prefix (same with "Insert Img" icon). If canceled, it will bring up a "normal" request again.

I am not sure how the Chrome layout will work with Igoogle; I enjoy using Igoogle for its many addons, especially the handy notepad within the browser. Sure its nice to have your 9 most visited site in big thumbnails on the page (less (right) clicks is always a good thing), but I am sure those who surf the porns would not appreciate it

Just a quick note about the first picture comparison: the blue-circled areas in the Chrome part have always been available to me with Firefox (2 and now 3), don't know why it doesn't show to you. The yellow outline of the current box isn't though.

Also, having the thread tools and search option at the end of the thread might be more comfortable than the scroll-down menus up right. Though, I don't use these features on this forum anyway, so not a big deal to me.

The Chrome default page only shows on start up if you don't have a start up page specified in Options, and when you create a blank tab with the + icon. So in my case, I still keep on using iGoogle with the benefit of the Chrome default page when I create a blank tab.

Sure its nice to have your 9 most visited site in big thumbnails on the page (less (right) clicks is always a good thing), but I am sure those who surf the porns would not appreciate it

The answer is New Incognito Window

pages you view in this window won't appear in your browser history or search history, and they won't leave other traces, like cookies, on your computer after you close the incognito window.

Cool feature.

My most favorite feature so far is the dockable window/tabs. That was something I was trying to get GW and HGL to adopt for their chat - you have a normal chat window/console where you can turn on various chat channels, with an option to drag a channel out as an independent chat console. This would eliminate a lot of embarrassing "mt" crosstalk and missed msg buried in other spam. It's a very handy feature for a browser because I often find myself shuffling tabs to reference material (like replying/quoting multiple posts, for example). Now I can drag a tab out as a new window, and then dock it back to the original window (if I want to). *pimp*
