Adventure Thirty-Five - Mach Five - Closing Day

Ok, it's ten minutes to midnight. But if there's any game appropriate to zoom in ahead of time, it's this one. smile Go ahead and post reports!

Space victory in 1850. This was about learning and experimenting for me, and it was quite enjoyable too! Thanks for a nice game! twirl

I have detailed notes about the game, but due to some RL obligations that always seem to pop up in the wrong time, I won't have the time to write details before the weekend. Just some pics for now:

Btw, there are no spoiler tags on this forum?

Cheers!

Was this game played with the bug mod? The screens don't look base Civ4.

BUG 3.5.1 and Blue Marble 4.0. smile They've changed some things from BUG 3.0, that's why the specialists look different.

Unfortunately, Yamps - the BUG mod is a non approved mod. That makes your game a shadow report. For what it is worth, Blue Marble is approved.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Oh, I see. Too bad that BUG isn't approved. I've just googled the BUG disapproval thread. Btw, is there a list of approved mods somewhere? It didn't even occur to me that BUG could be banned since practically everybody is using it. That thread does seem to have a strong argument against it, although if everybody is using it then it is a bit silly when you think about it. Newcomers to RB (like me) will likely have it too, so it's actually discouraging for new members to join the games.

Well, back to manual checking I guess...

Oh, what about patches? I've recently installed Dresden's unofficial patch since there are some annoying leftover bugs in 3.17. I guess that's verboten as well, right?

Hi,

Yes, it's somewhat hidden on the lists of exploits, which lists no exploits at all at the moment. crazyeye

Yes, it's not allowed. A patch makes your game even more different to anyone else's.

I hope you will play and report another game nonetheless! smile

Thanks, I missed that list of exploits. These games are fun, so some sacrifices will be necessary I guess...
