I am a huge fan of Lee Valley Tools. (It used to be the only catalogue that my husband and I would fight over who got to read it first. He won by dint of changing the mailing address so it would arrive at his office instead of our home.

This month, they are featuring an article about a modern day guild whose members have created some utterly stunning pieces. I will never be able to afford to pay for one of those desks, but I certainly can enjoy drooling over it.
