Appearantly Cyneheard got several Knights gifted from Ad Hoc and wiped half my Knight stack out with them. I talked with Ad Hoc about the why but if you want to read it, look in his thread, I am not going to post that meaningless conversation.

edit: I think Tatan also didn't move his troops as I requested. Otherwise those damaged Knights should have been covered by his Maces...

Wow, didn't realize that. And I thought I am doing bad at updating :/

Making it short: He says he had trading agreements and that he doesn't want to get involved in the war. I doubt that Cyneheard made agreements for troop trades before this war started, so I would say he got himself involved in this war. Now, the bad part is that we will probably not be able to withstand Cyneheard - except for if he is hesitant or if Tatan suddenly does think his moves through (though that is unfair against Tatan, I think he has other stuff on his mind right now and not really time to play, let alone think about it - still I am a little bit angry that he did not simply move the troops as I told him. We would have lost some of his macemen, but with my Knights having promotions in hand and being healed and his Knights being damaged from the attacks, I could maybe have wiped his stack or he might not even have attacked for fear of a counterattack).

Anyway, IF (and thats a big if) we can somehow not only withstand Cyneheard but win this war, I will go for Ad Hoc. Simply to prove a point

(And as always, take words spoken in war times with a grain of salt, as diplomacy sometimes ask you to act differently).

No real update, just another rambling: I have discovered Physics this turn and how many sources of Uranium you think are on this map? 1 - just 1. Directly in the middle on that floodplains-island. Not fun.
