Yes, it seems like we had a collective collapse in morale... apart from Darrell, that is, who soldiers on!

Speaking for myself - playing a diplo game didn't turn out to be so fun. So I'm not motivated to play for a win anymore.
If you know what I mean.

btw. Thank you all. This was a great team. We dominated in civ skills. I'm sure we also had all the skills needed in diplo arena, but chose not to use countless hours for it. Too bad it ended up an alliance against us including teams we never even did any harm to.

Have to agree with this. Having read the last few pages of a couple of your threads I wanna apologize if you felt ganged up on. It really is a testament to how good your team was that none of us thought it would work. Given that I came out of every deal with you, plako, with my trousers round my ankles I'm also not keen to play a diplo game again...

I have a question: how far were you from combustion? We were sure that you'd fill your cities with machine guns and use destroyers to get the upper hand at sea, then ship cavalry over to SLF where our defences were made of paper. We were ages from it and I think you'd only have needed to beat us by a few turns to do that. This is probably why my requests for help from the others were so convincingly desperate...

Also its hilarious the amount of time I spent trying to hide stuff from you when you had city visibility all along. duh

GG - you were clearly the best team.
