Alright, added in some more rivers, capital gold, plains hill start, moved the coppers to one of their grass hills, and changed the distant golds to gems. Not going to move the calendar resources out of the center areas, but I added a couple more reagents to the close areas, too.
And I scattered around some dry wheat and cows. Much richer map now:
Any opinions on the Unique Features? Right now, there's only Letum Frigus, and it's off on the edge of the northern ocean, only accessible by Optics.

Looking good mostly.
Couple of tweaks that stand out:
Start locations 1 and 3 can expand to claim all three grains, while 2,4 and 5 lack access to Rice.
Iron....I only see on source total.

I'll have a look at the save tomorrow, but (having not read the tech thread, so sorry if I'm wrong ) players generally want something s10ish (I.e. needs more then bronze warriors to overcome) when they go for lair guardians (with the reasoning being to push the luck unbalancing factor further back).
Also, is OO banned? Because I get the feeling its going to be pretty powerful this game...

Also, maybe try for "natural" resource placements?
Just stands out with stuff like grass incense/marble, especially on an otherwise natural map.

I know I gave them each iron, but it is a fair distance from their capitals, so probably just off the edge of the screenies.

They didn't specify a strength, but that's pretty much what I was aiming for.
Wraiths definitely qualify - Str 9, Fear. Goblin archer in a fort on a hill is still only technically Str 6, but that's a lot of bonuses. The only one somewhat killable early is the Str 4/6 lizard on ruin, and that's mostly because lizards are the most annoying of the barbs. I could add an Ogre, though, if you think they need more defense.
Ah, one thing I'd appreciate being doublechecked if you're opening the WB - those guardians really, really, need to be Held. I'm confident that I did that to all of them, but it's important, so verification would be nice.

Nope. Maybe I should remove some of those 1-tile lakes and replace them with rivers. Although, I'm torn; OO isn't often used, and it'd be a pain to get them from one lake to the next.

Don't much care about this one. It's pretty obvious that the map is edited, given those capital sites .
Sounds like I ought to be able to get the map to Brian tonight, given the scale of the remaining comments. Some problems left, but that's inevitable. I'm fine as long as they're small ones.

I think I'm just going to declare it done at this point. Rather get them started before my bedtime than wait until tomorrow, even if it could be improved a bit more.
Thank you both for your thoughts, though!
