[SPOILERS] The Legend Ends - Whosit's Adventure

Now that it's over, I peeked at the end of Dhal's thread. I thought he'd be upset (after I burned Duna, I went after his other border city). Well, truth is, my little battered army wasn't even going to make it back to my capital before it fell. My capital would either have been captured, or my little force would get picked off by one of the 3 strike groups Ilios had sent after me. So... yeah. Bad luck about the GA, though.

Maybe I should have played this game with the Triforce of Wisdom instead of Courage.

I don't think I want to deeply analyze my play right now, but I think Kakariko was a huge mistake. The location maybe wasn't bad, but looking back, that place needed farms, not cottages. And if I had known about the land to the south....

Quote of the month?

Hey Whosit! Great thread, I enjoeyd it a lot. Sorry if you're going through a bad patch. And as one losing team to another, I salute you. If this had been a diplomacy game I would have wanted to ally up with you, I thought we would have been natural partners with our positions and mutual potential enemies in Dhalpir and Yuri.

For the record, given the situatsion I don't see there was any bad sportsmanship in razing Dhalpir's city, it was a nice victory to go out on and you were screwed as soon as Ilios attacked. Bad luck for Dhalpir to lose his artist though.

With detachment from the situation I don't think it was poor sportsmanship to raze Duna. I did attack you, after all. However, it definitely was a choice that handed your other attacker the game, nonetheless.

You definitely taught me a good lesson about the value of garrisons in border cities - they can never be big enough.

Oh, by the way, I hope that everything resolves itself with the personal situation...

GG man, let me know if you ever want to have a chat about empire management.

I will consider your offer, Ilios, but I may just content myself with reading your thread. GG.
