I put the results of the Epic One competition into our running Google Docs spreadsheet along with the results from Adventure One and Two. Thanks to all of our competitors, and special congratulations to our winner timmy827!
On a scheduling note, I have most of the design ready for Epic Two, which will be another archipelago map setup using India and focused around trade. There is another patch coming in the near future, and I will likely open the game after that patch releases. I haven't created a starting save file yet in case anything major would change in a new patch. In the meantime, Adventure Three is still open, and TheArchduke has posted a Gorgo Hilly Challenge savefile that might be interesting to take a look at.
Right now, we have a relatively small group taking part in these Civ6 events. It actually reminds me of the start of the Civ3 Epics, when we never had more than a dozen people taking part in any of the games. I hope that more of the community will join us in time, but in the meantime, everyone here seems to be having fun, and that's plenty for the time being.

I have seen Gorgo Hilly Challenge and even looked on start screenshot, but did not come back to it as I forgot about it in meantime. I would like to check it out, however link brings me only to the message "The specified thread does not exist." Using a search finds only your reference to it. Seems that thread got deleted or I´m doing something wrong.

Sorry, I should have let it up for a while longer, I thought there was no interest.
I actually deleted it, because I felt rather stupid.
I do not suppose a Forum Admin could ressurect the thread and recover the file?
In any case, I am up for setting up another map to try out, or even a PBEM or SG.

OK, TheArchduke's thread should be restored now. I had no idea it was deleted; now I know what those black colors that I occasionally see on the forum mean.

I went ahead and reattached the savefile to the post in that other thread. Hopefully that fixes the problem.

I think I know the reason why your game did not attract much attention. I have downloaded save file and when tried to load, but load button was grayed out. This could be a moment when most players have just abandoned it.
However, then I have noticed in game description something like "smoother difficulty". I put in google and found that it is a mod for "lowering" game difficulty. After applying this mode game has loaded properly. Here is the link for anyone who is interested to play this save.

This i not what I´m interested in though - I´m complaining about difficulty to be too low, even on Deity. I will give it it try anyway. I have saw also other interesting mods, as "Deity++" or "Diplomacy mod". I´m actually fun of interface mods and content mods to certain extend, so I will check and test available Civ6 mods and post thread about it once I have more time, as I still need to summarize my always war deity game.

Thanks Sulla for setting up a very fun Epic 1, and congrats timmy827 on a really well-played game! Unfortunately I had a lot on my plate in RL around the time the Epic ended and coulnd't really participate in the aftermath discussions. That wasn't meant to be disrespectful towards the other players, but I was glad I found the time to post my own report and at least read the others. Hopefully I'll be able to post more next time.
