Absolutely - congrats Mr. Cairo! The longest-running Pitboss in Realms Beyond history, and you came out on top, all the way to a thrilling conclusion and an in-game victory!

Also, I think that the turn pace has been really good in this game. We somehow managed 350 + turns in a bit over a year.

Thanks to everyone for the turn pace.  I was probably the laggard in many situations and I appreciate the patience.

I already congratulated Mr. Cairo in my thread, but will extend it here as well.  Good game, everyone!

wetbandit, I don't think anyone noticed your minor delays compared to mine, so thanks to everyone for your patience with me as well during a couple of rough spots.  I am also glad I could provide some comic relief during my most flagrant clock crimes about 25 turns ago -- a low point where my mental bandwidth was maxed out due to complex in-game decisions paired with a punishing work schedule.  During that one infamous 2-day turn, I was basically holding a funeral for my civ, as I had a hard time dealing with the consequences of the previous turn and actually playing it through.  That's a not an easy thing to convey in the tech thread, but I was pretty crap about reporting delays in general.  I'll try to do better in the future, and am glad you all had a great time experience despite my occasional shenanigans.

Its always a pleasure playing with you DZ. Despite my nail-biting smile
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. [Image: noidea.gif] In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

Hello, I've uploaded the final save and the map and set Mr. Cairo as winner on PBSpy. Congratulation to the „normal“ Cultural Victory! wink

@Final Save:
You cannot move units in the final save, but take a look on each Civ, if you open the game over Multiplayer>LAN>Load Save.

The PBServer of this game will shutdown in a few days.

P.S. I forgot to remove the signs of each players in the final saves. (Well, I forgot it in all games until now [Image: ziel.gif] PM me, if I should alter the final save because you want hide your signs)
