superjm, I've read some threads from old civforum games (mainly from the prequel to this one). The meta is obviously different from RB,and I'll just say that they are a lot more trigger happy regarding early and very early wars. So an axe in the thirties is expected.
Also, warriors shouldn't obsolete until they've researched hunting, as they're obsoleted by spears? (Not sure)
