Quote:After being criticed for going attack speed before attack damage with Ashe (Damage is always better?) I wondered, are they any good? At least Sheen (Blue Sword) with Sion makes sense, or does it?

Personally i am a big fan of bloodthirster for ashe and berserker graves after those i go infinity edge and then it depends on the game but i rarely have time for another item after infinity edge

follow this guide to Level 1 jungling for Fiddle and WW

To those who aren't aware of this site yet check it out: http://leaguecraft.com/strategies/guides/

It's especially useful when trying out a new champion you don't have much experience with yet and are a bit lost. I use it all the time as it has a ton of very informative guides on different ways to build a champ and also just general information and tips about how to play each one.

All these guides take out a lot of the guesswork involved when building a champ and are great for learning how to be better at the game.

Those guides do help lay some foundation, but I find just asking some of the lvl 30s(Atlas, Mookie, Speaker, and so on) help a lot more in character builds.

Interesting that you recommended Youmuu's Ghostblade for Ashe, Speaker - I've tended to rush Berz Greaves/Boots of Swiftness, followed by Infinity Edge, Last Whisper and either Bloodthirster or Phantom Dancer, depending on how I'm/we're doing. Any particular reason you recommend the Ghostblade instead?

Depending on what guide you read, there are some really nice ones that talk not only about item builds, masteries and runes but about how to play a character in different phases of a match. Some even feature tips on laning partners and opponents. I am trying to learn Twitch right now and found it very interesting how many things there are to consider (besides unstealth->ultimate lol ).

There is no point in a late Bloodthirster. You aren't going to kill 40 more creeps if you get it *after* an Infinity Edge and Last Whisper. Phantom Dancer is also great, but you already have high Crit Chance from the IE, and you don't really need the dodge or movement speed, so the high gold cost is mostly wasted. Ghostblade has half the Crit Chance (so less gold wasted), and instead of Movement Speed/Dodge, it adds Attack Damage and Armor Pen, and then Attack Speed (and Movement Speed) with the active component. It is also 25% cheaper.

So to summarize:

Phantom Dancer goes better if you are trying to maximize Crit Chance, or with a Pure Damage build (like 2x Bloodthister --> Phantom Dancer).

Ghostblade goes better with a mixed Damage/Armor Pen/Crit Chance/Attack Speed build.

By the by, MookieNJ goes Zeal first on Ashe (before the BF Sword), which I personally think is kinda noob, but I understand his reasoning behind it. I just don't think it's as good. But he is a very experienced player, and likes Phantom Dancer on Ashe. Both builds are probably fine, and your personal skill and positioning is most important.

3x Doran's Blade --> BF Sword --> Infinity Edge --> Melt Faces.

SInce the general consensus in the guides I've read seems to be that Twitch profits most from Boots of Mobility, when would you buy them in this sequence ?
