I play a lot of Vlad as well and Gustaran essentially covered the bases (especially about sanguine pool; never use it offensively). I've found with Vlad that he is extremely strong in the early game and can easily deny almost anyone unfortunate enough to lane against him in the middle. I played a game last night where I pushed both Gragas and Irelia to the point where they were totally useless at mid and had no choice but to allow me to hit their tower. And of course, Vlad is one of the best tower divers in the game as well.

His performance typically falls off in the late game though as you're reduced to just harrassing with Transfusion, then throwing down the ult when your tank initiates. So Vlad isn't very exciting when it comes to getting kills in the late game, but his early game dominance, which translates to more gold and higher levels, can be pivotal to the overall success of the team.

How does Vladamir work? I've seen some people really pull off playing him well and others that just sucked horribly. I'm assuming he isn't someone who is looking for an easy to play champ?

Conversely, here's the best thing about League of Legends. We were behind for much of the game, but the other team failed to win the game when they had a major advantage (Baron + items) and instead split up to push separate lanes. Eventually we managed to win some teamfights next to our towers, as they got too greedy and fought in bad spots, allowing us to counter-attack and ultimately pull out a victory after 71 minutes. Pretty mediocre game from me as I continue to try to learn Morgana, thanks to everyone else (and especially Dantski for carrying us!)

A Request:

You know Sullla, you should duo commentate one of the games with Speaker or someone else with lots of experience (record using TeamSpeak maybe?). That way you could go into how you coordinate and what people playing different types of characters (tank vs carry) are thinking in the team fights.

Your standard commentaries are pretty nice for figuring out how to play 1 champ and how to in general play well with others but I am curious how you coordinate on a team level.

I have never seen 40 kills in one game before. But 27 assists on Blitzcrank is also very impressive.

Also, I have a small question. Does anyone know if it is possible to ascertain if your "First Win of the Day" bonus is available without having played a game first?

I have a quick Question:

I tried playing with Twisted Fate today and died three times in the laning phase against Garen until I realized that my gold card does not stop his judgement skill

Can one of the more experienced players explain to me why not ? The tooltip says he is immune to slowing effects, why does a stun not interrupt his spinning attack ?

Most profound apologies to Archduke. There was a blackout which engulfed the entire city for an hour during our game together, and afterwards I had no internet until 8:50 PM. That's why I suddenly dropped out of a game in which we had to claw out a comeback in order to win. I have no idea whether we lost or not, but setting up a 4v5 situation in such a case couldn't exactly be a good thing.
