Tristana tends to be very badly played overall, rocket jump's passive encourages suicidal behaviour and her ult doing damage encourages saving low HP members of the enemy team

Ok, having played a decent bit more with her, i've come to the conclusion that she is brilliant at harassing in top or bottom lane in the early game. She is rubbish at everything else and her Ult is woeful comparatively.
If you can use her harassment to dominate your lane and get a significant early advantage, she can be very fun.
Let's just say i'll never play her again in a pre-made with you guys though as, at higher level, she just doesn't cut it. Against low level guys- they are regularly caught out by her high early game damage and you can take control.

When we laned that one time together Kyan, she was extremely good at harassing.
The problem was, we were higher health and would almost certainly win any fight in the lane so autoattacking (even for her passive) meant they could just sit back and level at the same pace as us. It also meant that when there was a fight later on, they had a chance of winning it and we played it badly. This meant a lane that should've been dominated by us after the initial harasment, ended up being lost because we didn't use our advantage when we had it.
Once we'd lost the fight bottom we were both behind for the rest of the game which contributed to the game being lost. Maybe we would've lost anyway but maybe not

Yep, in retrospect, i think you're totally right. At the time, i was just thinking that doing the damage from the passive autoshot would be worth it. Definitely a bad call as a kill is FAR more beneficial. My LoL noob-ness coming through i guess.

If you are looking for a cool cast, I recommend watching this almost 80-minute TreeEskimo game (he streams now on own3d with better quality)

We just had a ridiculously close game where we managed to pull off a victory against a team pretty much stacked for late game. And while Tryndamere and Veigar could certainly two-shot anyone who wasn't a ninja or a yeti-riding child in those crucial teamfights past the 50 minute mark, they certainly couldn't outsmart us. And Dantski got a quadra kill as Nunu!

Yeah ignore the FoN on Ashe please. You can only get two-shotted by a 1,000 AP Veigar so much before you splurge on some real MR

Forgive my ignorance, but what is ARAM (the acronym) and what are the rules?

Hehe, I know what you mean. I can't seem to play melee champions, I sit at 20 CS after 15 minutes

But it's still by far the item with the highest AP, even if the passive is unique. I agree it would have been worth to go for the added survivabilitay of the hourglass, though.
