WW15 - Chiron is a harsh mistress

i completely understand Selrahc - but I do think its best for the village if I hold off posting until that point. I appreciate the sentiment though as I would call for the same.

I have to agree with Selrahc here. I don't see a reason why you need to hold back as of now and instead see several reasons not too if you are in fact a villager. Not telling anything is just giving me the feeling that you are in fact a wolf. Especially considering that as a name-seer, I expect you to know either that somebody lied about his name or that he did not. I hardly see how that information could in any way be harmful to the village if we knew it earlier. At best you found Lewwyns counterpart - I don't expect the wolves to kill him if he is either a wolf himself (as Lewwyn claimed) or a third party. But even if so, I don't see how that is harmful to the village.

Of course if you are not the name-seer but some other role, at least I would like to know your role now. Or are you believing that would also be harmful to the village?

Standard rule I never see any reason to break.

Don't role reveal during the night phase, it never helps villagers (with possible expection of 5 mins before deadline)

Is waterbat possibly going to state anything now that we cannot wait until daytime to hear?

...who Marr the alien really is?

Possibly yes, depending on the village-roles with active night-powers which might go to waste due to unknown facts. Apart from that, I do in general agree with you Jkaen. But he has already revealed enough that he will be a target for the wolves if he is a villager - and if he is a wolf and got the information through a scan performed by novice on Night 1 then it doesn't matter as well. So I fail to see how the rule you posted ("don't role-reveal in the night") applies in this case where he basically has already role-revealed and we discuss only about the information he can provide.

Btw: If he is a wolf, this might very well just be a try to get a possible baner to waste his ability on him.

To be fair if he his a name-seer (he hasn't 100% confirmed that). Then the only thing I am aware of him being able to do is solve Lewwyn's fight (which I don't believe we know all the details of).

If the wolves want to waste a kill on a name seer rather than taking out either somebody like zak, or possibly the baner (or heck the alignment seer), then I say let them.

...is waterbat actually the name seer? I don't think he actually stated it. Selrahc assumed that he was.

Serdoa Wrote:Also, could the "mindworm-faction" please clarify if there abilities are indeed meant to be used with mindworms or if that are just additional abilities, for example something like "mindworm eater: You can eat a mindworm. Doing so will make you able to telepathically contact a player once in the night."
It's definitely not a "mindworm flavored" ability, in the way that Mattimeo's drone riot was just a fancy name for his ability.

No Matt, why did you have to die. frown You were nice and helpful...

So, we have two players who are now claiming "Drone" as their role? This in addition to the recently deceased Foreman of the Drones. That's a lot of Drones. Molach, can you also cause riots?
