Someone else already reported this before. Draw a better animation, sorry, that's as far as my drawing skills (and time for it) go. This spell is new, it does not have an animation in the original game to use. It's not corrupted, it's just how it looks like. (It's more accurate to say picture, though, overland spells are not animated, they are a single image.)

Tactician is particularly good for Lizardmen because they get +1hp per figure, and you're spamming 6 figure units pretty much exclusively. They also have a pretty good base defense, and defense gets better the more you have of it.

Wait, is there supposed to be a picture at all? It's just like, horizontal white and blue bars, IIRC.

Yes, it looks like in the attached image.

Yes, that's the picture. I mean, how exactly is AEther supposed to look like anyway?
File format is 256 color, with the exact palette included in this file, and this exact size. Outside the circle is transparent in the game. Some color indexes (generally over 192) might be unusable as they are variable colors that belong to stuff like wizard flags but most of the palette works fine.
If possible I'd like an image that shows the AEther being magically inscribed with runes - even better if the runes are the ingame spellbook alphabet used on the F3 screen spelling a sorcery wizard's name (Seravy preferred, if we want two versions for the two different portraits then Horus for the other one - this spell really suits Archmages best.)

Maybe you can use the attached image as background for the runes?

Oh, that's an MtG card, lol. Summons cannot be played, was it?
I should have thought about using a random net picture, I wonder why I did not.

I think this would be about right?

My lizardman game is up to 1413, and I literally am just spamming settlers. The 2 arcanus wizards are periodically at war (one is chaotic) so I've picked up 15 arcanus cities without a fight so far, probably getting at least 8 more. Both arcanus wizards are stronger in all ways than both myrran wizards. One arcanus wizard has aether binding, and his spellpower is more than twice some of the other wizards. (That spell might need to be curbed a bit. I thought it was a flat amount, but the more it gives you, the bigger the bonus it gives you. It feeds off itself very strongly (and amplifying towers). Sure its more limited than raw power, but its comparable to life force (and with enough amp towers, is better than life force), and life force is very rare, can be weakened by enemy conquest, and doesn't have the huge dispel bonus.)
Speaking of, lizardmen with enlightenment and life force is ridiculous. (Picked up holy arms and charm of life too, though I haven't bothered with charm of life. My army is stronger than all 4 AI combined as it is, and I did get the death stack I expected (and I throw hordes of lizardman troops at anything until it dies.)

None of the AI will so much as sneeze at me seemingly for fear of war with me.

Also interesting: there are at least 6 neutral cities that none of the AI have conquered yet. (I'm not going to because of the possibility of diplomatic marriage. Multi race inquisitor empires are AWESOME.)
