Great! Looking forward to the marble hookup. We went ahead and sent the spices now too. If you don't mind, let us know whenever you're going to lend the worker for the gem chop. We will move the worker carefully of course, but we'll be counting on you to protect the worker from barbs while it's chopping since it's your worker.

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. We cut a deal with the German team in order to get marble - we're trading them spices for marble, and we're giving them a 10T gems loan while we wait for them to hook the marble. We had a slight miscommunication with our turn player, so we actually gave them the spices prematurely. We wanted to get you in the loop here so you understood why it may appear that we are "gifting" them happy resources right now. We're not just giving them happy, they will be giving us marble in return soon.

What the German team doesn't realize is we will use this marble to get some really important stuff completed (like Heroic Epic) so we can build strong units really fast for the upcoming war . Hope you don't mind, it'll help our common war in the long run. Let me know if you need anything from me!

Great, thanks! Just to clarify, you're still good with maintaining the rolling 10T cooldown right? Just thought I would check .

I'd be happy to fill in some geographical gaps for you. The Spanish team is located east of CFC (who is located east of us) and west of CivFr. Going eastwards there are about 38 tiles from Xochicalco to their borders. WPC is located northeast of our borders, and east of the Germans. Their closest city to you is 19 tiles northeast of Xochicalco, but they have two small inland seas in the way (including the one you know about).

Let me know if there's anything else specifically you want to know about any civ locations - I'm not totally sure what you know and don't know.

that's OK. Probably makes them suspect the war even less.
We'll begin churning out the cats and supporting units from now on. I bet the German team will see the powergraph spiking up, but I believe they don't have a chance even if they prepare for war a little bit. Our two front attack plan will make sure of it. Also they don't have the cats that are really vital at this era. Lets make a specific attack plans together later. At this moment the best invasion route for us seems to be from very north. You can choose the best route for you, but it seems that the strategic copper resource is near your border, so that might be one prime target for you.

Also, your missionary in our lands seemed to move quite slowly. Try to keep your people running, OK.

Hey, wanted to check with you on something. We see a Buddhist missionary of yours walking up to our borders - it appears it's going to enter our lands next turn to try to spread the religion. We would like to ask that you don't spread it into our cities. We agreed to your request to not scout each other's lands with our OB agreement, and a missionary entering borders would be a violation of that. Also, we'd prefer not to get the religion spread into cities of ours that have no religion, as it removes our chance of our own religion spreading for free . So yeah, we'd just ask that you use the missionary on someone else if you don't mind.

Great to hear about pushing out more units. We'll of course be making our own preparations soon too - we've already begun churning out cats, and we should have some strong supporting units too . The good news is that even though we had a no-scouting clause with the German team, they seemingly forgot about that and started poking around in our borders. We of course took that as license to scout out nearly all of their cities, so we'll be able to share with you whatever map intel you need. Turns are moving slow so we haven't mapped out a specific invasion path yet, but we'll be working on that in the next week or so. Either way, we'll just want to make sure both of us hit around the same time.

Wanted to pop in and say hey and see how you guys are doing. We haven't really had many dealings so far given how far away from each other we are, but we were hoping we could start to change that as the world is beginning to feel "smaller" . Are you guys interested in a map trade for starters? We're both quite far from each other, so between the two of us, we could probably uncover most of the map. Let me know how that sounds!

5.5 Team Civfanatics agrees to give Realms Beyond a 10T loan on marble at some point during the NAP. This can be arranged around CFC's builds to be a 10T window in which they will not be using the marble. RB would like this window to start no earlier than T120 and no later than T150. Both sides will make good-faith effort to be accommodating on the timing of this loan.

So, CFC just discovered Nationalism (slow researched it that same turn we got Liberalism)

Now suddenly they'll pop up with the marble they've been neglecting, right? However, as I read the terms of their agreement to gift us marble... it's pretty useless. I was trying to see if they had any obligation to gift us their only marble (our second) but I don't see that happening. :-(

Oh well. We'll still beat them to Taj thanks to our Miraculous Micro Masters!
