Thoth Wrote:Lurker Question: Did the Krillmod boost citizens? Or is there some other devious reason why you were working a citizen instead of a tile?
Yep, citizens are great specs now, able to be boosted to 3b/1h/2c at maximum. But no, I was just in the middle of reassigning it to a different tile. I'm a little depressed nobody else noticed it.
In other news...there are more food sources within four tiles of the capital than I can really believe. Moving 2W would have been better, but who could have known that?

So Civilization itself thinks I have a pretty ballin' starting area.
But a wise man says, "Only a fool would run an empire without luxuries, king." So what should our brave little warrior find for us?
SILVAR!

So I ventured out much further afield, not fearing wandering warriors or tundra wolves, because I'm badass like that. Crazy dotmap thought of the day: 1N of the warrior for a double hill sheep, double SILVAR, lots-o-forest plant?
Yeah, I thought not. Anyway, the warrior survived with barely a scratch, and now we have a worker about to start us a cow pasture. A second worker will be chopped and then both will chop out a quick settler.
Who am I kidding? Nothing is quick here. Let's take predictions on where copper is. I'm betting...the bare plains tile 2SE of the capital.

man, that pic takes me back to childhood...
Out of curiosity - why the cow and not the pig?

1t faster done, and as I'll be growing before any pasture finishes, it's a net even...making a second worker next, so 4f/2h is just as nice as 5f/1h.

Also, we had an Adventure. The plan was for the warrior to retreat back to the capital, but I noticed in the distant hills a pack of fierce wolves lurking. I opted, then, to wait and heal a while.
Yep! They attacked. And now we have a potential shock warrior.
Yup. We're coming over the mountains. Hopefully, we'll find a victim out west.

Welp, pasture done, so now we've got cows for a great 4/2 tile. Coupla few more turns and we'll have a second worker to assist in pasturization of pigs and then they chop out a settler.
But...um...anyone else notice something kind of missing around here? Like, something kind of essential for the classic Toku Zulu solution?
