having holy water on riders won't make too much of a long term mistake as most holy waters get removed at the end of the senerio

The holy water only affects the melee attack, unfortunately. frown That is why I was thinking horsemen, for maximum melee impact with charge bonus. But we will see how it goes -- maybe the riders will work out better due to having ranged attack and not being as vulnerable as horsemen to ranged enemies. Trying something different can produce unexpected success.

And fire&ice is correct that the holy water only lasts for this map, anyway. So it is not a big deal.

And what's the worst that could happen, anyway? Other than a complete massacre of our forces by the horrific undead, of course. lol

Besides, if it doesn't, having a Holy/Pierce rider wouldn't be so bad, IMO, anyway. tongue

I think I am geting a glitch where it doubled the damage from chocobones(Yes I did factor in charge and it being night) but only from one direction

Can somone check if this is suposed to happen or take the turn

I will let you guys choose if my turns count or not I ended up playing the turns twice

Round 1 Had a glitch that gave chocobones 5 extra damage giving them enough damage to kill leader although they should not have

they did 27 instead of 22

ended GAME OVER

Round 2 had no glitches I think and the save is attached

PS if we use any of my saves I will provide pictures and turn log

Given that it was just to fix a glitch, I'd say they count.

Did the unit being attacked have any vulnerability to whatever chocobones hit with (pierce? impact?)? That might provide the extra few points of damage.

Anyway, if one of the required characters would have died, what else would we do? Try again from the start of this map? I would not want to give up the campaign, after investing this much effort into it.

0% so I don't realy know
I had a simular glitch with a paladin attacking the same dark adept from one tile it was 24 damage from another it was 28 so maybe it has to with unit faceing

PS will have turn plus pictures up either tomarrow or monday when I get time

I don't think its unit facing. It may be a bug with day/night since that looks like ~25%.
