Sounds good to me, f&i. We are not in any rush, even if Jkaen jumped on that last turnset almost instantly. I won't be able to play until Thursday anyway, so the timing would be perfect for me.

To be fair I am managing to check the internet once a day right now, so just got lucky with the timing i guess!

Looks good
Also, sounds like the next scenario is one for having our (loyal) mermen screen for us. Given that it's a ford, we can probably back the priestess up with of our other healers, too.

I always liked the sea monster level. Really makes you wonder how you can live without Shydes. I mean, unless you're a dwarfy dwarf with the power of axe(body spray).

Looks like nice work, fire&ice!
I am assuming nothing dramatic happened, like deaths (of our guys, anyway ) or promotions? How much gold did we end up with for the next map?
OK, I have the save. I hadn't realized we would be to the start of the next map, so maybe I can play tonight after all. A couple rounds of recalling and then run, run, well...wade, wade to the north? Should not take that long to play.
Yes, we want that trident! But we need to be careful who we send to get it. I will have to check our mermen to see if we have a quick one, to help avoid getting trapped by the sea monsters.
As ASM noted, we want our shydes on this level for mobile healers. Other than that, mermen mermen and more mermen. No other land units at all. I think we can manage with 2 rounds of recalls (assuming we have that much money of course), then Konrad takes off and starts heading north end of turn 2.

um I think dwarfs can just break the game. Was playing a player made campaign and got a dwarvish sentinel (gaurdsmen at lvl 3) with regeneration and watched as he tanked 5 lvl 2 orges for 2 turns on a hill.
Ps. he is now at full hp !1! turn after my main army arrived

OK, we are running (wading) for the north side of the river at the Ford of Abez.
Nothing has really happened yet (no fighting), so just a very quick summary. I recalled all our loyal mermen and our single shyde, then recruited a handful of fresh merman fighters as meat shields. Konrad has reached the water (barely).
We had one loyal quick merman, so he is the farthest to the left (west) heading to get the trident. Everyone is spread out in a line, which was just out of range of the blood bats the orc king has recruited. Fortunately they seem to have all diverted towards Li'sar's forces.
The loyal mermen are in the line, the recruits are the cluster to the east as they were recruited on T2. The shyde should grab the village on the island while the mermen set up for defense in the water against the oncoming orcs. Stay back from shore to force them into the river. Try to keep our loyal mermen alive, especially the unique ones (priestess, netcaster, hoplite with trident).
To the southwest Li'sar has recruited some ogres, which are her best units in the water as they only pay 2 movement per tile. The cavalry and mages will be much slower and probably can not catch up to us.
The sea monsters have not appeared yet, but I expect they will very soon. Hopefully our quick merman can get to the trident and back to the main group before they can block him. If not, he will need some support.

Since I'm apparently bloody oblivious to the turn order, I spent this evening playing a different game...
I guess I'll get this tomorrow.
