I thought I got the shot, but victory screen shows Sisu with 25 pop and Suttree with 40. Sisu, don't give up!

(and if you want some pointers, just say so...) :-)

Reading up on this thread, impressed with Sisu. A whole month without an update? I hope he is all right and just cut off due to work/vacation or something else that does not endanger his person or health. TBH I am thinking that the lead Sisu has managed will not be lasting under my greenhorn leadership. Be that as it may I am here as a sub for the time being and will do my utmost to do good.

Oh this is not good. Being hemmed in both south and north by BGN and suttree respectively. The 6 turns left on peace with suttree gives me a short window to explore close to his lands. The Thunderhead mt. to the west is, together with the unknown city just visible a dire threat to any expansion. War is inevitable, and suttree is the larger threat by far to my eyes.

Some screens:

Where is that BGN settler going to go?

Really annoying settler and new city by suttree

There is one turn left on Mathmatics. Thinking currency is my next choice. Keep that gold flowing. But I need more military. Sisu has a good spot, but it is danger close now.

I have to go to work, will be back in 9h to make a stronger assessment and plan forward. Advice is most welcome.

Back from work, read up on the thread, going in to get a view on what has happened this turn.
Just from the civstats I surmise that WilliamLP has either lost units or whipped something. A decrease of 7 points/3 points is curious.
Sisub stats are up 346 - 354.

BGN, Oxy and John D. has not made their turn yet. Decided to make a city list for now. I've seen some of the spreadsheets Sisu made and I may go there but not at the moment.

Quote:DZ with Curl (Capitol) - 8 pop (3 turns to pop) - 16h/turn - Buddist missionary (1turn) followed by Spearman (1 turn)

Superscript two - 6pop (2turns to pop) - 6h/turn - Spearman (4 turns) followed by Axeman, Budd.temple

Yar Tshes - 6pop (3turns to pop) 3h/turn - spear (10 turns) followed by ?

Jongseong - 7 pop (4 turns to pop) - 7h/turn - Library (10 turns) followed by ?

Biquintile 5pop (2turns to pop) - 8h/turn - Spearman (3 turns) followed by ?

Yfen Kato - 3 pop (2 turns) - 3h/turns - Lighthouse (15 turns) followed by ?

There are different ways to go from here. Next turn makes the HG wonder available, and my initial interest in gaining currency is offset by a small interest in centering world map. Then there is the buidling of settlers that I need to get to before I am completely surrounded by blue and yellow forces. There is three silk to the SW of Superscript two, and the dangerous settling areas close to blue territory which may become crucial spots when war comes.

I had a small view of the cities numbering among my foes, and damn. Blue will go past me in score within 15 turns on sheer build and pop growth from what I can estimate right now. This could be wrong but I really support Sisu's quip about that team being a serious player.

All my cities have buddhism so the missionary built in DZ is a strange choice, unless used for scouting BGN, the only civ with OB agreement atm. I am *really* wondering where he will place that settler. One look later shows me a GP coming online within 16 turns, meaning a Holy Site with added income. That will be a welcome addition to the treasury.

This is really fun and aggravating at the same time. Sisu! Where are you buddy?
