BTW what happened with waterbat? He voted thestick early on then switched to Injera because he preffered you over zak as mayor and then vanished.

Actually was following the thread as well as possible (weekends are family time, afterall), but didn't have much to add. I agreed with the others that the 20questions post pinged a bit scummy. Of course, I wish I would have stuck with stick, but who knows - we might not have gotten as much movement and info if I had.

My post 40 minutes after Zakalwe's was written on a cellphone while doing other stuff and was in fact a crosspost

I do this all the time - I've had 1-2 hour crossposts because i started them on my phone and between other stuff going on, it happens. There is, of course, some loss of credibility to the post when this happens - one can't prove timing without a good forum timestamp.

Generally, he is way too quiet. Yet he seems to be on top of all facts when he does post. My read: lurking scum.

(this post was regarding TT) Going into this game, I was specifically looking for this type of pattern. In the last game, I had zak and novice as wolf buddies! I constantly was trying to make sure what I posted didn't sound like I was too on top of things. I succeeded in doing this - luckily my big mistake/reveal came from one of my neighbor threads.

• Had village reads on both you and novice but don't like what happens when you have too much power. Not to mention a day 1 village read is not a big marker - certainly could be wrong. (I feel much more secure in those village reads after the lynch result, of course.)
  
• Dislike an all eggs in one basket day 1 lynch. You'll recall I had similar reactions to the MNG lynch a few games back. I think multiple strong candidates is best approach to giving info.
  
• I like(d) my Catwalk/Injera theory.
  

Uncanny gaspar. I had very similar feelings.

• I don't like jumping on the zak-novice catherding. It is very important that people contribute on their own and we don't provide a easy vehicle (maybe not a bus - maybe a train) for an apathetic village and lazy mafia to jump on. Also, I wasn't kidding about still being bitter about ww14 (novice catherding his way to glory).
  
• I've said many times I prefer having multiple candidates up - I've justified votes on this concept in the past.
  
• I also liked your theory - enough for me to suspect Injera -when he made his comment about mayoral votes, it just sounded too forced.

Also, like Bigger asked at the time, why didn't you vote to save Mattimeo if you thought he was innocent? (post 252)

Above, I think I answered your question on the Injera vote.

At the time - in the cases of BOTH of my posts (vote injera / express that Mattimeo sounds innocent to me), I felt like there was plenty of time until lynch. I wanted to express clearly that a) i thought injera was suspicious and b) i thought mattimeo was not. I didn't particularly think either of them was going to hang then - lots of movement left in the day. I wasn;t thinking of tactical voting to save someone who i thought was innocent - that had not even entered my head yet.

Of course, if it had come down to the end and it was 9-8 Mattimeo vs. TheStick, I might have put in a vote at that time to even it up and let the mayor do his job. Not sure - I think my style is to lean towards voting contrarian, but if the village has decided on a lynch, accept it.

Btw, just to interject a random thought I had earlier. Villager Sareln has a history of being easily swayed by claims. So his behavior is perhaps consistent with that. On the other hand, he emphasized that the claim was "testable", which was a little odd. A bit eager to have it tested, since he knew that thestick could actually deliver?

lol i thought for sure you were putting this into your write up for your main suspect! Now I have to go back to the drawing board on that.
