Phantom bandwagons mean nothing IMO without real votes backing them up unless we want to start using a non-GM color and having them added to the tally as well.

As I mentioned in my previous post, folks were hitting me over my statement that both theStick and Mattimeo's claims were testable. Testable has a certain connotation: that it is the village doing the testing, when that's not how I was thinking of it at all, so bad choice of words on my part.
So what did I mean?
Simply that with theStick and Mattimeo both firmly claimed, we could wait and see if there were correlating events. With his claimed ability, theStick would have to report his results to the village. He would either have to give true results or come up with lies - which have risks in and of themselves. Similarly Mattimeo does his thing and either we see the results of successful saves* or silent nights. Too many silent nights with obvious wolf kills (strong villagers wearing the mayor title) that go unblocked and Mattimeo loses claim strength.
Maybe I'm more conservative in my thinking than the rest of you though. Hopefully you understand now what I meant when I preferred Bigger for the lynch.
*Is it worth it for the wolves to attempt to deep-cover Mattimeo by giving up a night-kill? I don't think so, too much risk for too little game as killing another villager protective role undoes all the work getting Mattimeo the deep-cover.
