I was rather thinking that Injera had gotten a read of you (ie he has watched you going somewhere) and used the null-read to lure you to a 'I didn't do anything'- statement. That would have been the trap.
But you are quite right if you are just a standard wolf who didn't do any nightactions you are save to claim null-reads anyway so Injera a notch towards villager and you stay scummy
