I was planning on coming back to post about waterbat, but my god it takes time going back through these posts. It just takes so long.
So here's the thing. After going back through the posts on Waterbat... I think he's likely just a villager. His very first post of the game put me on edge with the all caps I'm innocent thing, and ever since then I've looked at him with suspicion. He carried on with his roleplaying through the first half of Day 1 and then when we get into the Night and the following day he sort of drops it. Why? Because A) its obvious he was just having fun, B) it became cumbersome and no longer fun, so C) he stopped doing it. But scum would try to maintain this cover. They wouldn't be throwing it away. They would care more about appearances than having fun, because for them the fun would be in the winning.
His voting record is terrible. He hops on Uber day 2 at the 4th vote. Hops to Pindi and then hops back to Uber to give him the lead at 6 votes! I never realized Uber had so many votes on Day 2 but he was in the lead by 2 votes after Waterbat put his vote on him. The thing was the votes on Uber died down and Waterbat stayed on him. You could say this was suspicious. Waterbat did say Uber was his preferred target for the day though, so I can buy it. Day 3 is worse because he's one of the first people on Mero and he never changes his vote all day. Just parks. If he's a wolf then he doesn't need to change or explain any vote switching at the end of the day. But let's be honest, Mero was basically a lurker lynch policy vote until he went insane and fake claimed as a vanilla villager.
So yes, his voting record is not good, and seems a bit scummy, but I'm not reading that in the posts. I'm just seeing a villager trying to have some fun.
I started out with the intent to find proof of waterbat's guilt and in its absence I think he's innocent. I did this before with Mardoc I think a few games ago. I was getting a scummy read, went back to find the evidence and found none. I do not think waterbat is a good lynch.
